Abby Tarpey

Abby Tarpey fell in love with the arts after watching Project Runway as a child in the early 2000s, a moment that sparked a lifelong passion. Her journey into filmmaking began in 8th grade when she took her first video production course. Over the course of high school, she took the class nine more times, solidifying her dedication to storytelling through film. During this period, she also began developing her photography skills in both film and digital mediums.  

A recent magna cum laude graduate of Penn State University with a major in Film Production and a minor in Photography, Abby cultivated a strong drive for leadership and production throughout her studies. She regularly directed projects at her job with CommAgency and contributed to various short-form projects and internships. Having recently relocated to Los Angeles, she is currently a floater assistant with Atlas Talent Agency, now eager to transition into professional roles on set, in long-form film production or multimedia creation.
